The Nation Military (WIP)

Overview

Hundreds of millions of soldiers march in unison toward death, their identical uniforms and helmets merging them into a mountain of bodies.

The Nation was developed to fight forever, drowning enemies with their own bodies. High casualty rates are an expectation. Proper training and weapons are an afterthought for them.

Factories and assembly lines endlessly work to feed the war machine, pumping out endless bolt-action rifles to plant into the hands of soldiers.
(World War I theme)
- The Nations fields early forms of aeroplanes, tanks, armored trains, and radios.
- Certain projects are more heavily invested into, being evidently more technologically advanced, such as the Steel Gate.

Drafts & Conscription

An Underside draft by The Nation is executed when the war begins or another front is created. By policy, an Underside draft is formed into their own unique corps composed of tens to hundreds of thousands of Dwellers, The Nation deliberately plans that units from different Undersides never meet or interact.

Civilian conscription comes at much lower rates compared to an Underside draft. Even so, military units from the surface are thoroughly trained and properly equipped. They are provided with their own corresponding uniform and gear.

Counter Specialists Divisions

The Nation formed companies specialized in targeting, tracking, and hunting specialists. Being assigned to one was joked as a death sentence amongst soldiers. Holds extremely high casualty rates. No formal companies have been formed to track Inheritors as they are far too rare, dangerous, and unpredictable. Soldiers within these units have a higher Load Signal tolerance compared to ordinary soldiers.

Occurrence of Specialists within ranks

The Nation actively seeks Specialists within their ranks, training soldiers to report any supernatural phenomena, abilities, or capabilities. Once information is approved and relayed, Specialists Identification companies investigate the battlefield or covertly integrate into their unit. Despite these efforts, Most Specialists are unable to be pinpointed, continuing to fight anonymously alongside ordinary soldiers.

In the case of the formation of Loaded Heirlooms, The Nation quickly scrambles to find the Inheritor or the Loaded Heirloom. Unfortunately to them, all attempts go unsuccessful. Specialists Identification companies don't attempt to actively search for Loaded Heirlooms as they are too elusive.

Specialist Shock Troopers

Specialists who are officially identified by The Nation are consolidated into elite squads. Being deployed together or independently, The Nation utilizes them as an elite force to punch through enemy holds and assert control.
