Loaded Heirloom Concepts (WIP)
Child of
The Handheld Vestibule
“I’m alive because there is solace in armageddon.“
-
A trench whistle adorned with beautiful swirling patterns.
-
When the Inheritor blows into it, the whistle begins violently diffusing mass amounts of Load into the area, forming a localized hurricane.
-
Wind speeds reach high enough to rip and rend ordinary soldiers.
-
At the eye of the storm surrounding the Inheritor, a temporary Dead-Zone forms.
-
Primarily used in large scale battles for the Inheritor to isolate themselves into duels
World Cauterizer & Approaching Pyrolysis
“I’m alive because I need to see this world burn.”
-
A Split Loaded Heirloom, a decorated officer’s saber adorned in flame and cracking patterns, accompanied with an infinite indestructible spool of flammable iron wire.
-
Approaching Pyrolysis (spool) can only be severed and lit aflame by the World Cauterizer. Produces massive vertical walls of cinder that incinerate, bisect, and lock areas. The thread will burn itself out when the Inheritor chooses to or there is no more Load in the air to consume.
-
Can be used to lay massive traps by unreeling miles of the spool, anchored at two points and restrained by a secondary control line. The control line stores mechanical tension in the spool, similar to drawing a bowstring. Severing the control line with the World Cauterizer simultaneously ignites the wire and releases the stored tension, sending the wire moving across the battlefield as a massive wall of fire, slicing through terrain, fortifications, and enemies, and leaving the area ablaze.
-
Fire produced by these Loaded Heirlooms are more tenacious due to consuming Load and oxygen, being significantly harder to put out. The Inheritor is impervious from being burnt by it.
-
World Cauterizer (saber) absorbs moisture and flames when diffusing inward over a large area. It emits them back outward at concentrated pressure along the blade when diffusing outward. Larger outward diffusion makes the flame larger, being able to fully cloak the Inheritor in a ball of fire and combusting any opponents or projectiles before it can reach them.
-
Inheritor must wear an oxygen mask to safely reside inside or near their fire.
