An abandoned, legendary, and supermassive stronghold of the nation that had been long reclaimed by nature after its servitude in multiple historical wars.
Located in a clear passage that splits through a titanic mountain range, forming two vertical walls of kilometers tall stone. The hold sits on a flat expansive grassland, strategically built on to serve as a gateway. The giant upheaved land almost seal the passage behind it, forming a narrow road. The plains surrounding it was once a barren no man’s land filled with craters and skyscraper sized steel rods embedded in the surface that angle inward towards the stronghold, but the landscape had since recovered but the rods remain. It houses a superweapon, an electromagnetic railcannon that fires said rods, sitting dormant in a pedestal that towers over its own walls. It has been out of commission ever since the hold was abandoned. The area is completely abandoned and is a Dead-Zone
Every time the railcannon fired, snow fell from the nearby ridges. Grass in the plain bowed as the rod flew. Soil erupted into dust, displaced by the impact. The ground roared, and the entire ecosystem shook.
