Wields Load Applications of The Seeker's Eye
Diffusing outward enables The Seeker's Eye, granting intense acuity which the periphery also adopts.
Upon using the Seeker’s Eye, it will fixate onto a target, with their attention following pursuit despite obstructions or peripheral distractions.
Consequently, both eyes must be used individually for proper function; otherwise, hand eye coordination is significantly impaired and depth perception is distorted. Prolonged use of the Seeker’s Eye leads to nausea and lightheadedness due to visual overload.
Overview
The Pursuer was a Dweller working as a firearms factory component manufacturer. Constant attempts to escape has led to them being prosecuted, beaten by guards, decreased or withdrawn rations, and being temporarily unpaid.
After analyzing a guard’s rifle from a black-market purchase worth months of pay, they began scrapping together stolen components from their job and far off districts; creating the blueprint for a crude makeshift rifle.
A hidden insurgency arose shortly after with the mission to escape to the surface, utilizing the blueprint to arm their members to force their way to the grand elevator.
After years of preparation, the insurgency attacked the lift’s checkpoint, first targeting communications to prevent the lift from being compromised and sent upward. The firefight had left the surrounding infrastructure appear like a warzone, with the remaining guards surrendering and being taken by fed up Dwellers.
As the lift ascended carrying hundreds of insurgents whom cheered and waved at the Underside below, gunfire and explosives began raining atop of them, forcing them to surrender. At the top they were met with another cave enclosing the lift’s shaft and a heavily armed response, but also a massive gate that appeared to have sunlight cracking through, the moment The Pursuer’s vestibule unlocked. Most of the insurgents were executed, and an investigation followed targeting any contributors and scrubbing the blueprint. The few rest were immediately issued an Underside draft, including The Pursuer.
The event to their Underside came to be known as The Gunpowder Uprising.
Utilizing his manufacturing background, The Pursuer created an unwieldy single-shot revolver intended to incapacitate Specialists. Firing without diffusing assisted Load Integration may dislocate the shoulders of even themselves. It often requires repair and replacement of parts, as firing as much as three shots exceeds its performance. The Pursuer has expressed frustration with its unprofessional assembly, often missing shots despite shooting with the Seeker’s Eye.
