Overview
Centuries of persistent reports of combat rescues by the same individual across all sides had soldiers name the savior as "The Requiem".
After witnessing their family killed and their home consumed by a territorial expansion of The Nation, they join allied forces to fight against The Nation (needs expansion including new factions) with the motivation to satiate their revenge. After fighting for years, they participate in a trench charge where they are fatally wounded. They die lying in the middle of No Man's Land, where they awaken their Vestibule upon death and are resurrected. At the same moment, they begin reflecting their life up until now, finally deciding they've done enough.
The Requiem no longer put significant effort in the war, now instead focusing on humanitarian situations and preventing casualties from both sides.
The Requiem desperately frequently documents historical events and their own physical state in fear of forgetting it, although sometimes inaccurately and contradictory. A destroyed journal would mean a partial loss of identity.
