Load & Environment

Regions with large amounts of emotional stress accumulate higher concentrations of Load, increasing local density.
(Regions can be treated as having Chambers with a baseline size, only expanding under local emotional stress. These Chambers can also be stretched if an abundance of Load is externally brought in.)
Over time, natural diffusion causes regions to return to equilibrium.

Dead-Zones

Regions with their virtual chambers collapsed outward
In rare cases, regions become devoid with Load, forming zones that forcibly expel it. These regions are designated as Dead-Zones. The size of one is fixed and do not migrate.
They are used as strategic strongholds due to their ability to neutralize Specialists.

Dead-Zones are often marked as the creation site of a Loaded Heirloom.

Overburdened

Regions with their virtual Chambers expanded beyond equilibrium
In contrast, regions with abnormally high Load density are designated as Overburdened. It can occur in rare battlefield conditions where local Load density rapidly increases.
Overburdened regions are also used as strategic points due to their amplification of Specialists.

A Specialist can Overburden a region by introducing large amounts of Load into it.

Historic war fields and landmarks are often permanently Overburdened.
